Product Description
The BENTLY 3500/33 is a full – height 16 – channel relay module, developed by Bently Nevada. It is an integral part of the 3500 machinery monitoring system, designed to offer reliable control and signaling functions in industrial setups.
This module provides 16 relay outputs, each of which can be independently programmed to execute voting logic. This feature allows for great flexibility in configuring the module according to specific industrial requirements. The voting logic can be customized using “and” and “or” logic operations. For example, it can be programmed to trigger an alarm based on multiple conditions, such as a combination of “alert” and “danger” statuses from different monitor channels, or when a particular measured variable exceeds a predefined threshold (not – ok status).
Each relay within the module incorporates alarm drive logic. This logic is crucial for generating alarms in case of abnormal conditions. The 3500 rack configuration software is used to program this alarm drive logic, enabling users to tailor the module’s response to various industrial scenarios.
The module also features LEDs on the front panel. These LEDs serve as visual indicators, providing valuable information about the module’s operational status. For instance, the “OK” LED lights up when the module is functioning correctly, the “TX/RX” LED flashes when the module is in communication with other modules in the 3500 rack, and the “CH Alarm” LED illuminates when a relay channel is in an alarm condition.
