The BENTLY 3500/32 125712 – 01 is a full – height 4 – channel relay module, an essential part of the BENTLY 3500 machinery protection system. It is designed to provide reliable relay – based control and alarm functions in industrial settings, especially in monitoring and protecting critical rotating machinery.
This module offers four independent relay outputs. Each output can be programmed separately to execute voting logic, which allows for great flexibility in setting up the control system according to specific industrial requirements. The voting logic can be configured using “and” and “or” operations, enabling the module to trigger alarms or control actions based on multiple conditions. For example, it can be set to activate an alarm when two or more specific monitor channels in the rack reach an “alert” or “danger” status simultaneously.
Each relay on the module incorporates “alarm drive logic”. This logic can utilize alarming inputs from any monitor channel within the rack. The 3500 rack configuration software is used to program this alarm drive logic, ensuring that the module can meet the diverse needs of different applications.
On the front panel of the module, there are LEDs that serve as important status indicators. The “OK” LED lights up when the module is operating correctly. The “TX/RX” LED flashes to show proper communication between the module and other components in the 3500 rack. The “CH Alarm” LED illuminates when a relay channel is in an alarm state, providing quick visual feedback to operators.
