ABB LD 800HSE

The ABB LD800HSE is a FOUNDATION Fieldbus linking device that serves as a gateway between the field devices on the H1 links and the HSE subnet2. It enables access to field devices connected to the FOUNDATION Fieldbus (FF) from supervisory and control systems, as well as management consoles2. It supports redundant use, with a separate redundancy link between primary and secondary linking devices to ensure reliable failover and redundancy monitoring2. There are two versions available, one for safe areas and one for hazardous areas2.
This device provides a link between the FF’s High – Speed Ethernet (HSE) protocol and up to four H1 links2. It allows for the transparent configuration of connected H1 devices from the host system, and enables access to blocks in H1 devices in a client/server mode2. It features four independent H1 link masters (LAS), supports publish/subscribe operations on H1 (with up to 4 sub – cycles), and can republish data from one H1 link into another or from H1 to HSE. Additionally, it supports firmware updates via download2.
