The BENTLY 3500/42M is a high – performance monitoring module designed by BENTLY Nevada as part of the 3500 series2. It is a 4 – channel monitor that can accept signals from proximity and seismic transducers. It conditions the input signals to provide various vibration and position measurements, and compares the conditioned signals with user – programmable alarms.

Each channel of the 3500/42M can be programmed using the 3500 rack configuration software to perform functions such as radial vibration monitoring, axial displacement measurement, differential expansion measurement, acceleration measurement, velocity measurement, shaft vibration monitoring, and circular acceptance region determination1. It continuously compares the monitored parameters with the configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms, thereby protecting the machinery. In addition, it communicates essential machine information to both operations and maintenance personnel.
