The A-B 1747-BSN Backup Scanner module is A redundancy solution for SLC 500 series Programmable controllers (PLCS). It can be used in conjunction with another 1747-BSN module to provide thermal backup for the PLC. This means that if the primary controller fails, the backup controller will immediately take over, ensuring that the system is up and running.
