ABB LD 800HSE

The ABB LD 800HSE is a FOUNDATION Fieldbus Linking Device. It serves as a gateway between field devices on the H1 links and the High-Speed Ethernet (HSE) subnet. This allows access to field devices connected to FOUNDATION Fieldbus (FF) from monitoring and control systems, as well as from management consoles.

• Connectivity: Establishes a connection between FF HSE and up to four H1 links.
• Transparent Configuration: Enables transparent configuration of H1 devices from the host system.
• Access to H1 Devices: Allows access to H1 devices (client/server).
• Four Independent H1 Link Masters (LAS): Provides four independent H1 LAS.
• Publish/Subscribe (H1): Supports publish/subscribe communication on H1 (up to 4 sub-loops).
• Data Replication: Allows data replication from one H1 link to another, or from H1 to HSE.
• Firmware Updates: Firmware can be updated via download.
• Redundancy: Supports redundant configurations when two linking devices’ H1 ports are connected to one H1 link. A separate redundancy link between primary and secondary linking devices ensures reliable failover and monitoring.
