The FOXBORO FBM218 module is a redundant HART communication output interface module for converting analog signals from field devices to HART protocol compliant digital signals. It can be connected to the FOXBORO Evo DCS system for control and monitoring of field equipment.

The module has the following features:

Supports 8 analog output channels
Each channel supports either a 4 to 20 mA current output or a HART digital signal superimposed on a 4 to 20 mA analog output signal
The module redundancy design improves the system reliability
The hot backup function automatically switches to the standby module when the active module is faulty
Supports HART protocol and can communicate with various HART devices
