GE HYDRAN M2
The GE HYDRAN M2 is a smart device for monitoring the operation of power transformers. It assesses the health of transformers by monitoring dissolved gas and moisture content in transformer oil in real time, combined with advanced algorithms and models to provide early warning of potential failures, reduce downtime and improve grid reliability.
Main function
Dissolved gas analysis: Monitoring the concentration of dissolved gases such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide and ethylene in the transformer oil, which are indicators of insulation failures occurring inside the transformer.
Moisture measurement: Monitor the moisture content in the transformer oil, too high moisture content will accelerate insulation aging.
Transformer condition assessment: Based on dissolved gas analysis and moisture measurement results,
combined with transformer models, the transformer health is assessed and trend analysis is provided.
Fault warning: When an exception is detected, the system sends an alarm to remind maintenance personnel to take measures in time.
