GE HYDRAN M2
The GE HYDRAN M2 module is an on-line monitoring system for power transformers designed by General Electric (GE). Through real-time monitoring of dissolved gas components in the insulating oil of the transformer, it can detect the possible faults in the transformer early, so as to improve the reliability of the transformer and avoid major accidents.
Product name
GE HYDRAN M2 transformer online monitoring system
Product description
The HYDRAN M2 module is usually installed near the transformer tank and is connected to the transformer tank via a sampling tube. It can monitor the concentration of hydrogen, methane, ethane, ethylene, acetylene and other gases in the transformer oil in real time, and analyze the types of faults that may exist inside the transformer according to these data, such as overheating, partial discharge, arc and so on.
