The PROSOFT MVI56-PDPMV1 is a feature-rich industrial automation communication module developed u

nder license from Rockwell Automation. This module uses proprietary backplane technology as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the ControlLogix processor for the transfer of input and output data between the PROFIBUS device and processor data. The module supports complete master station specifications according to IEC 61158 standards and can transmit acyclic parameter data via Class 1 or Class 2 DPV1 services, enabling easy communication between the processor and slave station devices that support the PROFIBUS DPV0/V1 protocol1. In addition, the module is suitable for various industrial automation scenarios, such as power and distribution applications, petrochemical, water and gas applications, as well as SCADA and DCS applications.
