WOODWARD 8237-1246
The WOODWARD 8237-1246 is one of the ProTech-GII series of overspeed protection systems manufactured by Woodward. It is mainly used to detect and prevent over-speed or over-acceleration of rotating machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines and water turbines. Once excessive speed is detected, the system immediately sends a signal that triggers safety protection measures to prevent equipment damage.
